What time should I arrive?

The ceremony is being held at the primitive Baptist church in Cades cove. The road into Cades cove is a single lane one way road that is roughly 10.2 miles long that should take anywhere from 2 to 3 hours to drive through. That being said the primitive Baptist church is at about 2.1 miles in. So plan for about 4:45pm entry into the Cades cove loop road to be at the church around 5:30pm

Where should I park?

The church has a parking lot but there will not be a huge amount of parking spots. The church has about 8 parking spots so we will likely look into car pooling if we can.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony and reception will be held indoors, although the church will not have any heating or air conditioning.

Can I bring a plus one?

Please refer to your invitation. Due to venue capacity, we can only accommodate the guests listed on your mailed in envelope.

Are children invited?

Due to venue limitations, we are unable to accommodate more guests than we have invited.

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions or food allergies?

Definitely reach out to Jeffrey or Alex so we can make the necessary arrangements. You can also refer to the receptions catering menu available on the website.

Where are the recommended hotels or accommodations?

The Tremont Lodge is undoubtedly the easiest option, as it serves as the reception venue. However, it comes with a slightly higher price tag. Townsend offers a variety of lodges and inns, but if you manage to secure a cabin, you won’t regret it.

What if I can’t attend after I’ve RSVP’d?

No problem at all. Please let us know as soon as possible so we can update our guest count with the venue and caterer.
